💡 Tip - Multi-provider appointments let you schedule different services with different team members in one booking.
Start from the Schedule page
1. On the Schedule page click either:
The Create button in the top right > Client appointment, or
A specific time slot on your calendar to begin booking.
Creating the appointment
1. In the booking drawer that appears:
Search for an existing client, or
Click Create New Client to add someone new.
2. click the Providers dropdown to choose a provider for the service.
3. To add another provider, click the provider field once more and type or select their name from the dropdown list. You can add as many providers as needed for this appointment.
4. Click into the Services field to add treatments or consultations.
Services that cannot be performed by the selected providers will appear grayed out.
You can reorder services by clicking and holding the dots on the left side of each service card.
5. When you add add multiple providers appointment:
Moxie will automatically assign each service to the first provider listed who’s qualified to perform that service.
If multiple providers are eligible to perform the service, it defaults to the one whose name comes first alphabetically.
6. To change the assigned provider, click Edit provider next to the service and choose another from the list.
7. Next select the date and time (or adjust as needed if you clicked directly on your calendar)
8. Select the appointment date and time.
9. The end time of one service becomes the start time of the next by default. To add a break between services, click the secondary service and adjust its Start time manually.
10. to verify you can see a visible gap between services in the calendar on this page.
Finalize and book the appointment
Click Save to confirm the time.
Review any Client Communications if needed.
Hit Complete Booking and close the drawer.
You’ve successfully booked a multi-provider appointment. 🎉 Now your team can deliver collaborative care in a single appointment.

FAQs
How can I tell who’s performing each service on the calendar?
In the appointment card, look at the colored bars on the left they match each provider’s assigned color. You’ll also see provider icons in the top-right corner of the appointment card with the provider's color code.
Can I see only one provider’s portion of a multi-provider appointment?
Yes! Use the Client filter and toggle Crop appointments to isolate just that provider’s booked services.
What happens if two services overlap?
You’ll get a warning if the timing doesn’t leave enough space or if a provider is double-booked. Adjust the start and end times to resolve conflicts.
