Practice operating hours are a weekly template of when your practice is open, with the option to override hours for a single date. Set them from the Working Hours page to unlock coverage highlighting, the day-by-day coverage icon, and the Ops. hours calendar preset on the Schedule page.
Set your weekly operating hours
1. Select Working Hours from the Global nav.
2. Select Add medspa hours. If hours are already set, this button reads Edit medspa hours instead.
3. Each day shows a time range, Closed, or Not set.
4. Select the pencil icon on any day to open Select days and time.
5. Select one or more weekdays to apply the same hours to, then set an Open time and Close time. Check Closed instead if the practice doesn’t operate that day.
6. Select Save.
❗ Important - Changes you make here update the weekly template, which applies to that weekday going forward, not just one date. To change hours for a single date only, use an operating hours override instead.
Override hours for one specific date
Use an override when the practice’s hours change for a single date, such as a holiday or a one-off late opening, without changing the weekly template.
1. In Week view, select the day column header for the date you want to change. In Day view, select the operating hours shown in the header.

2. Set different hours for that date, or check Closed.
3. Select Save.
Only that date changes. The same weekday in every other week keeps using the weekly template. Reopening the header for a date with an existing override shows the hours you set, ready to edit again.
FAQs
Who can set or edit operating hours?
Only someone with Full access on the Medspa working hours permission. Everyone else can see the operating hours in the grid but has no way to edit them. See Working Hours: who can see and edit what for the full breakdown.
What happens if I leave a day as “Not set”?
The Working Hours page treats that day like a closed day for coverage purposes: no uncovered-hours highlight and no coverage icon, since there’s nothing to compare provider hours against.
I set hours for Tuesday, but next Tuesday still shows the old hours. Why?
You likely edited a single-date override instead of the weekly template. Check whether you clicked the day column header (override, one date) or opened Add/Edit medspa hours (weekly template, every matching weekday).
Does this affect the Schedule page?
Yes, once operating hours are set, the Schedule page’s calendar settings get an Ops. hours preset that matches the calendar’s visible hours to them.
